CONDOR Data Analysis, Publications, and Presentations Policies

To see the CONDOR Data Analysis, Publications, and Presentations Policies, click here. The CONDOR group used the DPBRN policy document as a starting point template for its policy document. The current version was approved in January 2010. The CONDOR group - the Collaboration on Networked Dental and Oral Research - comprises three dental practice-based research networks funded by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR). These networks are DPBRN, PEARL, and NWPRECEDENT.

What is "The DPBRN Collaborative Group"?

The DPBRN Collaborative Group is the collective author on DPBRN publications that comprises co-authors who have had a significant role in the work. Click here to see who comprised the DPBRN Collaborative Group for specific DPBRN studies. All DPBRN practitioner-investigators, faculty investigators, and staff personnel involved with data collection, study design, field testing or other significant aspects of the study, and who are not a named author, are acknowledged collectively as the last author as "for The DPBRN Collaborative Group". The use of "collective author" or "corporate author" investigator groups is widely accepted. For example, if one goes to PubMed at here and selects "Author - Corporate" in the “Search Field Tags” pull-down menu, and then searches for the terms (”Collaborative Group” or “Study Group” or “Investigator Group”) as the named author in the Search field at the top of the page, then one will identify more than 16,000 publications from a wide range of journals and scientific disciplines.
